The plant is a small bushy shrub or tree, 3-35 feet in height The berries are plucked from the branches of the plant once a year and dried and ground before distillation

Juniper is a detoxifying, strengthening and purifying oil. It may be used for improving lymphatic drainange and circulation, and easing stiff and painful joints. Depression, despondency, insomnia, respiratory problems, aching muscles, acne, skin sores, eczema, rheumatism, hay fever, oedema, water retention.
